Adult's Schedule

5:00    Justice & The Prophets Led by Rev. Micah James, Rm #116
Bring your Bibles! Each week we will look at the understanding of justice, equity, equality, compassion, and mercy through the lens of the Hebrew Prophets. Our study will be supplemented with excerpts from contemporary readings, but no book purchases will be needed for the class. The class will begin January 18 and conclude April 19, with no class on the weeks of Ash Wednesday and Spring Break.

5:00     Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University led by Cameron Woods, Rm #117
Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University is being offered Wednesday evenings. It is that time of year where we start to make our resolutions for the New Year. One that is common to a lot of us is: “I will get on a budget this year!” When it comes to managing money, this 9-week class will teach you how to become debt free, prepare for the future and create a working budget! This is more than a class about budgeting, it also helps with communication, relationships and goal setting. To register and purchase class materials use the link: http://fpu.com/1032072

6:00    All Church Dinner - Fellowship Hall

6:30    Ethics & Morality: Making the Moral Choice - Led by Rev. Chris Shorow, Rm #116
How do you decide what the right thing to do is? We will explore modern topics of morality, how we make decisions and look at Biblical directives for our actions and values, using real life examples. Using Michael Sandel’s book on Justice as a basis, we will look at justice and righteousness in scripture and how it informs us today. Expect lots of spirited discussion.

6:45    Chancel Choir - Led by Diane Ball, Sanctuary
Offer your musical gifts through the year in the 11am worship service and on special occasions.  Come share your gift of song!
